USDF Silver Medalist Kristina Ehrle-Webb has joined Sonesta Farms as a trainer
and instructor! Kristina offers training of your horse from properly
starting it under saddle all the way through showing it at Grand Prix. She
also offers riding lessons from beginners through Grand Prix. Welcome,
Kristina!
Sonesta Farms offers training for both horse and rider in
hunter, jumper, dressage and cross-country. We specialize in the adult beginner who has always wanted to learn to ride and didn't have the chance as a child. We recognize the special needs and fears of the adult beginner and we will help you realize your dreams. Then, when (and if) you decide to get involved in showing, we take students to shows in hunter/jumper, dressage, and eventing, as well as Arabian breed shows and competitive trail competitions.
We often "take our lessons on the road" by trailering out for
half-day trail rides, practice rides at show facilities and day-long "cross
country" practices where we work a mock cross country course for fun and
confidence-building. Tons of fun is had by all on these special days.

Current rates:
Lessons: $45 per 50 minute private session on your
horse, $60 using one of our show horses
Training of Horse:
Full Training $1000 per month - Includes full board, 5
training sessions per week, all grooming and tack care (note: up to 2 of
the sessions per week may be substituted for lessons on the horse in
training)
Partial Training $850 per month - Includes board, 3
training sessions per week and basic grooming on ride days (note: one of
the sessions may be substituted for a lesson on the horse in training)
