Join us for our laid back, no-pressure schooling shows.  Recognized by the Houston Dressage Society, these one-ring schooling shows are perfect for:

• Introducing yourself or your students to showing dressage;
   

• Practicing the tests at a higher level before moving up to that level at the big USEF recognized shows;
   

• Introducing a young horse to the world of showing;
   

• Fine-tuning your performance before a big show; and/or
   

• Just getting out and having some fun.

At our shows, we offer a large 60 x 20 meter sandy arena with excellent all-weather footing, ample parking space, lots of room to warm-up and to lunge your horses, superior concessions and fun classes.  We have limited stalls available with priority given to out of town exhibitors and stallions.  You may trailer in the day before to school.

In addition to offering all the "regular" dressage tests, we will at every show offer several "fun" classes open to everyone.  These could include Prix Caprilli, Dressage Equitation, Costume Freestyle, English Trail Class, Anything Goes Musical Freestyle and other classes yet to be conceived.  We plan to offer some "Jackpot" classes as well!

 

We are at the mercy of the weather for parking (in the big pasture), so please do contact us the evening before to make sure we have not had to cancel.  If we do cancel, entries will automatically be applied to the next show unless you notify us otherwise.  Check back here or call 281-373-0125 or email rebecca@sonestafarms.com to check on the weather status.
