Top Quality Hanoverian, Knabstrupper & Arabian Horses for Dressage & Jumping
Horses Currently for Sale
Sonesta Farms currently offers the following quality horses for your consideration:
Tzshamrock - Gorgeous 2007 registered Knabstrupper mare by the international showjumping Trakehner stallion, Tzigane, and out of a registered and fully-approved Knabstrupper mare. This lovely mare is 16 hands tall, light & forward, sensitive to the rider's aids, but not flighty or silly in any way. She was not started under saddle until she was 6, so she is very low mileage. Has been shown in dressage with scores in upper 60s and has been nicely started under saddle. Her full sister is a very successful eventing horse and we think she could be as well. But she'd also look really good in the dressage or jumping ring. Come try her out. $18,000. Negotiable to the right show home.
Spectaculare - Spectaculare (Splash) is a lovely Oldenburg Verband registered mare by the pinto Oldenburg stallion, Spectrum. She is a hair over 16.hh. She has very good, correct movement and is showing in First Level dressage with the ability to move to the upper levels. She was professionally started under saddle and is in full dressage training with FEI and BHSII trainer, Andrea Seaman. She clips, loads, bathes, and ties (as any good show horse should). She has been presented to and approved for breeding by ISR/Oldenburg N.A. She has also been started over jumps and loves it. Would make a nice eventing horse or children's jumper. Call for price.
Congratulations to Jennifer St. Clair on the purchase of Kona. I'm sure they will be a good pair together.
Corona Noir - 2004 Bay Pinto Oldenburg mare registered with the German Oldenburg Verband. She is by the black Hilltop Farm stallion, Cor Noir. Kona is a full 16.3 hands and growing. Lovely easy movement and a good quiet willing mind. She has been shown once in dressage (with a novice student rider!) and scored a 68% . Regularly ridden by students, she is very suited to an amateur rider. This one could also excel in the eventing world. As a foal, this mare was featured many times in magazine photos and calendars all over the world. $15,000

Congratulations to Chris Lord of Boulder, Colorado, on her purchase of this very special mare. I just know we'll be seeing great things from them in the dressage ring next year.
- 2001 Dark bay Hanoverian mare
Feiner Stern and out of Wallstreet.
Feiner Stern is generally regarded in Germany as one of the century's top
producer of broodmares, with many of the most successful dressage stars and
breeding stallions coming out of his daughter. These mare are highly
prized and very seldom offered for sale. Now you can have your own.
Filli's dam was imported from Germany where she was a show jumper. Filli
is 16.2 hands tall and has already produced a premium foal by Routinier that
tied for champion of his foal inpsection. This mare is so sweet and
gentle. She rides beautifully with smooth gates and real impulsion.
She is in the main mare books of both the American Hanoverian Society and the
Oldenburg Verband. Filli would be a lovely dressage horse or could excel
in the hunter ring with her smooth flowing gaits and calm manner. At just
60 days under saddle she was already willingly giving flying lead changes!
